What do they measure?
They use liquid chromatography mass spectrometry method to measure the Vitamin D in your blood. They measure Vitamin D2 and D3 and report the total and D2 and D3 results with a clear interpretation.
Results are sent to the email address provided on the consent form. If you would prefer, the hospital can post results to you.
The result form has a clear interpretation of your Vitamin D level. Note that our results are expressed as nmol/L.
