Avena Sativa Tincture

One of the most nourishing herbs for the nervous system, Avena sativa, or more commonly known as the green tops of the oat plant has been used for centuries as a fortifier and up-lifter of the nervous system and to relieve tension.

 For one week only in the growth cycle of the oat, the oat top produces a milky substance which contain flavonoids such as isovitexin which nourish the nervous system and help our own endogenous dopamine to circulate longer in body, helping to regulate our mood and feel more engaged with our environment. 

Avena is extracted in sugar beet ethanol (alcohol) and water. The aerial parts of the plant are used. The strength is a 1:3.

2-4ml twice daily in a little cold water or juice
