Description

Potter’s Malt Extract is one of the oldest Potter's recipes. It is a traditional, nutritious and versatile malt extract which can be spread on bread and toast, added to cereals, used in place of refined sugar in bread, cakes and general cooking, or taken by the spoonful as part of a balanced diet and healthy lifestyle.

The sugar in Potter's Malt Extract is in the form of maltose, which converts to glucose during digestion. Glucose is stored as glycogen, which can be readily converted back to glucose.

Malt Extract (from barley).

Suggested Use

Adults and adolescents over 12 years: Half to one tablespoon (15-30g) daily. 5-12 years: one to two teaspoonfuls (10g-20g) daily. 1-5 years: half to one (5-10g) teaspoonful daily.
