Vitamin D3 & K2

Vitamin D3 & K2 is a balanced combination of two essential nutrients. Vitamin D and K contribute to the maintenance of normal bones, and vitamin D also contributes to the maintenance of normal muscle function, normal teeth and the function of the immune system.

Vitamin D is often referred to as ‘the sunshine vitamin’ as it is naturally produced under the skin following exposure to sunlight. During winter periods we can’t make vitamin D from sunlight because the sun is too low in the sky. Because it’s difficult to get enough vitamin D from food, Public Health England recommends supplementation of vitamin D to maintain bone and muscle health. This formulation features an advanced
form of vegan vitamin D3 that has been plant sourced from lichen and clinically trialled at the University of Surrey.

The non-animal tested K2 is naturally derived from fermented natto cultures. Vitamin K contributes to normal blood clotting and can be found in fermented foods and animal products, and is also produced by gut bacteria. Vitamin K2 works synergistically with D3 and these two essential nutrients are in forms which are optimally absorbed by the body.

As a food supplement take one to two capsules daily with food. Do not exceed stated dose unless recommended by your healthcare practitioner.
