Vitamin D Test Kit

Find out if you are Vitamin D deficient with a Vitamin D test kit to use in the comfort of your own home.

This finger prick test uses dried blood spot technology.

Results are analysed at the NHS Vitamin D laboratory of Sandwell and Birmingham hospital and then emailed to you.

What do they measure?

They use liquid chromatography mass spectrometry method to measure the Vitamin D in your blood. They measure Vitamin D2 and D3 and report the total and D2 and D3 results with a clear interpretation.

Results are sent to the email address provided on the consent form. If you would prefer, the hospital can post results to you.

The result form has a clear interpretation of your Vitamin D level. Note that our results are expressed as nmol/L.

This test can determine if you need extra Vitamin D.
